5 STAR FABULOUS! Oxtails with rice, greens, cabbage, fried okra, fried pork chops(Fridays meal along with left over veggies), peach cobbler that was so temperature hot when delivered that I had to put in fridge to cool down a lot as the 1 tiny taste I had burned my tongue. Red beans and rice were tasted and perfectly seasoned as well.(Friday meal) Only NOT excellent thing to me - I didn't particularly care for the cornbread. I'm way partial to the cornbread recipe my mom passed to me that's light and moist with no sweetness to it...this is super dense, dry and a bit sweet....not like dessert sweet but just not what I like. We all have our personal favorites. My grandmother/mom were from Louisiana so I grew up on most of these foods. Will definitely order from here again. EDIT- The cabbage, greens, and porkchop were all excellent. Will order from here again soon.

Honestly might be the best catfish in town! It's a humble little spot, but the food punches far above its weight! I usually get a catfish plate with okra and candied yam or mac&cheese. The quality is spot on every time. Transports me back to my childhood... Sometimes they may run out of certain sides, but that's just the reality of the business. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and it's really nice to be supporting a local business that makes food with heart!

As I entered, Lyfe Jennings was playing so I KNEW I was where I needed to be. Today was black out Friday and decided to spend my money at a black owned business. Staff were very friendly and efficient. And the food was very affordable. The fish and fries were ON point. I hope this business continues to flourish.

Came and tried this place before a night out and man this catfish basket smacks. The catfish is crispy and juicy. And their fries are kind of like wingstops but better. Definitely would come again when I'm in town

We went here late one night and the staff was super friendly and nice. The wings were good and I truly enjoyed the fries. The good news is this place stays open late at night.

Clara's Kitchen never fails to impress me, I love their catfish and their seasoned French fries they are the absolute best!!! 10/10 would definitely recommend Tammy is also extremely kind and she cares about her staff and her business and you can definitely see it. Thank yall for all the amazing food, I always feel so blessed when I get to eat from yall's restaurant

I've been going to Clara's since they opened and they've always been great. I was looking at some of these 1 star reviews and wondering if the quality had gone down over the years. it has not. It's a cute little hole in the wall. the food is amazing...they run out of stuff sometimes, but that's just how it goes. I'd recommend calling and picking up vs Uber eats delivery, just in case they're out of something. Catfish plate, Mac and cheese, greens ALWAYS hit. Peach cobbler was new for us and it was fresh out of the oven and DELICIOUS.

Omg the food is so delicious it was my first time. I had the Fried Sampler w/ everything. I was definitely satisfied. The Mac n cheese nuggets made me have a foodgasm 1000/10. Definitely recommend.
